Shirley Mundy runs a Craft Group in Portsmouth and Beading Workshops in Bosham and Portsmouth. Her workshops are both private workshops and community based workshops and she has recently had much success and demand for her beading skills in particular. Shirley has exhibited at the Portsmouth and District Embroidery Guild and the Museums Open Artist Exhibition.

Shirley enjoys working with strong colour and her piece Trees at Sunset evolved from experimentation with ‘red sky at night’ shades. Whilst researching tropical fish in museums and images in books, Shirley began a nine month period working with different hand and machine needle techniques to create Fishes in Coral. Her beading skills are also evident in this piece; can you find the seahorses?
