Coastal scapes of land, sea and sky combined with a fascination of colour and an interest in traditional craft skills are the elements of Lorna Dallas Conte's work at present, involving thought around transformation, manifesting energy, and honouring the sacred.

This hand-knitted textile work is to be used to clothe either walls, floors or the human form thereby mixing function with an exploration of the aesthetic.

Lorna's desire to adorn, embellish or decorate spills over into jewellery and garments which become less fine art and more applied art in essence.
