Wilfred Ball first started as an accountant, spending his spare time studying at the Heatherley School of Art in Chelsea. He first exhibited his work when he was 24 and spent the next 20 years painting landscapes and marine subjects.

Born in London, he travelled a lot in Europe but is mainly known for his Sussex and Hamsphire paintings, some of which you can buy from us as prints.
