The second watercolour of the pair this one manages to be an even busier painting: and to remind himself of his beloved Naples there is at least one steam pinnace flying the Italian naval ensign! As with the other painting this one too has an intriguing little pencil sketch to remind the artist of which ship was where before he committed himself to the final watercolour painting.
